MasterChef judge John Torode will be the star of the chef stage at this year’s Flavour Fest.
Returning for its fifteenth year, Flavour Fest 2018 – a Plymouth City Centre Company event - promises yet another jam packed weekend of food, fun and entertainment. Visitors can look forward to an exciting three day programme of chef demonstrations, food stalls, street food and entertainment for all the family from Friday 1 June to Sunday 3 June in Plymouth’s city centre.
John Torode said: “This will be my first visit to Flavour Fest and I can’t wait to sample the very best produce that the South West has to offer.”
Appearing at Flavour Fest on Saturday 2 June, John will be performing two cookery demonstrations for the crowds and giving some top tips. Born in Australia, John began his cooking career at the age of 16 and has been a judge and presenter of MasterChef since 2005. John adventures across Australia, Malaysia, Korea and Asia for UKTV’s Good Food have achieved some of the highest viewing figures across the channel.
John has also written a number of best-selling cookery books, the latest of which, ‘John Torode’s Sydney to Seoul’, will be released on 31 May this year. He will take part in a book-signing, so lucky festival-goers can get their very own signed copy.
