An even bigger Flavour Fest will return to Plymouth for 2025 after welcoming more than 100,000 visitors in 2024 and providing an economic boost of more than £3m to the city’s economy

From Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June 2025.

Plymouth’s three-day food and drink extravaganza Flavour Fest is changing up again this year with more traders and more live music.

The Plymouth City Centre Company main event will take place on The Piazza in Armada Way, with the usual mix of food and drink from across the south west, along with our famous chefs’ stage and cookery demos.

But this year’s event will feature more than100 stalls - a 20% increase on last year’s numbers - with an international market area stretching up the newly improved public space in New George Street towards Old Town Square and Drake Circus.

Look out for a hand-picked mix of local food traders and exciting new additions, including Burmese street food, handmade cakes, and local spirits.

Steve Hughes, chief executive of the Plymouth City Centre Company, said: “We are delighted that New George Street is fully open this year, giving us the perfect opportunity to expand the event and make use of the beautiful new space. We hope even more people come in to enjoy the festival and see how the city centre is changing.”

Live chef demonstrations will take centre stage in the Cookery Theatre, hosted by Michael Barber, owner of Barbers Chocolate and tutor at Ashburton Cookery School. Highlights include Indian flavours with cookbook author, Suki Pantal, gin-making from Craig Brook-Hewitt for sustainability-champions, Mother’s Ruin 1751, and a seafood masterclass with Adrian Bartlett, Director of Plymouth Seafood & Fishing Association.

Children can join in the foodie fun too, with dedicated cookery workshops from kids’ cooking class experts, Cook Stars.

And you can head to The Bazaar, for a vibrant cultural experience with even more delicious food and entertainment.

The entertainment zone, sponsored by The Treasury café and bar, returns to the city’s Civic Square bringing live music to the very heart of the city throughout the weekend and into the evenings.

With live music from 12pm until 8pm on the Friday and Saturday and from 12pm until 5pm on the Sunday, we’ve got something for everyone, check out the full line up.
